*** The tie fundraiser was a success! Except, the success didn't make its way to my house-- I made the mistake of letting Ashton and Ian pick out their favorite tie. I hate both their choices. I mean, it's like a 6-year-old and 4-year-old picked them out!
*** I've been feeling really bad about myself because my favorite dress from the Academy Awards has been on every "worst dressed" list. So maybe Ashton and Ian's tie choices aren't ugly to anyone but me. But how could anyone think this dress is ugly? I love it. Put some sleeves on, and I'm wearing it to church next Sunday!
*** I got this really great anonymous comment a couple days ago: "I really like when people are expressing their opinion and thought. So I like the way you are writing" Great comment, huh? It made me feel a little better after my confidence-dashing dress choice. Thank you Spammer.
*** I went to Prescott this weekend with some friends, and I had a full-on "Gilmore Girls" moment (That was one of my favorite TV shows once upon a time. Don't knock it-- it's my brother-in-law's favorite too). We went to a little concert held at my friend Meegan's sister's clothing boutique, Livy Lou's. I felt just like I was in Stars Hollow...minus Miss Patty and Luke, of course. And I felt a little like Where's Waldo (keep looking, you'll find me).
Luckily he gets the cast off tomorrow. I think I might be a little sad to see it go-- doesn't it just make him that much cuter?...and smellier.
Well, that just about sums up the last week or so. To Anonymous: I hope you like how I expressed my opinion and thought this time around, 'cause here's proof that I'm not just a one-hit wonder!

You honest and truly like that dress? *grabs nearest office supply and gags himself* I think the best part of the picture is that middle-aged lady's face in the background :)
Let me know when you come up with that excuse and I will follow suit. I love that pic of Carter in the sink...to cute!
I will personally pay to put sleeves on that dress...cause I CAN'T WAIT to see you in it next Sunday!
Umm so why do you need sleeves on the dress??? ;) LOVE the Carter pics! And also glad you had fun on your Gilmore Girl's weekend that you didn't even have permission to go on in the first place!
