A Sublime Rhyme on Your Dime

I'm sure you're all sick and tired of my constant bragging about my children. I would be if I were you, but I'd understand. Because if I were you, I'd realize just how awesome they really are.

But, I figured I'd give you all a break today and brag on someone else for a change: me! I bet you didn't know this about me, but I've got some mad rhyming skills.

I put them mad skills to good use yesterday and wrote my mom the best Mother's Day poem EVER. And out of the kindness of my heart, I will share it with you now. You're welcome.

But, I'm gonna have to warn you: you're all going to feel a little sad that you didn't get such an awesome poem for Mother's Day. Sorry.

Of all the fish in the sea

Or leaves in a tree

Or dogs full of fleas

Or spellers in a bee

Or rednecks of Tennessee

Or bones in your knee

Or cherries in a jubilee

Or scratches on a CD…

All the world would agree

You don’t need a degree

To know with certainty

That none can compare with thee!

Happy Mother’s Day

I'm half embarrassed, half proud to tell you...my family prides ourselves on being excellent rhymers! Seriously... to the point that we sometimes have "who can write a limerick about X the fastest..." I know...nerdy/awesome! You can be an honorary Ferrell...cause you got mad skillz! (PS- don't tell Dave...the Rogers think I'm crazy!)
