When the Scissors Go Missing

Life's full of surprises. And motherhood's no different.

One thing that hasn't surprised me, however, is my kids' obsession with these babies.

When the scissors go missing at my house, I'm not gonna lie-- I get a little nervous.

Luckily, (knock on wood) no one has given himself a "fun" haircut or given one to his brother. No major damage done.

And since we're talking about a house full of boys with not a single Barbie or doll in sight, I thought I would be safe from finding remnants of "salon makeovers" when the scissors go missing.

But then I realized I forgot about the Christmas nutcracker.

Glad your hair wasn't cut...more importantly, do I see tile remnants on the floor? Gotta come check this out!

You very diplomatically didn't mention who the stylist was.

I'm glad I got to see the haircut in person. It looked much more trendy in real life. I gotta get the name of that nutcracker's stylist!

I was beginning to think only my girls cut the hair off everything. Thanks for the chuckle.
