Obviously blogging has not been a top priority in all my spare time since school ended. In fact, I haven't done any of the things I'd planned to do (well except maybe taking a nap).

I had a really good excuse, though. What was it again? Oh yeah, Christmas.

But unfortunately my plans for posting a super, awesome Christmas post today were thwarted by my not-so super camera and/or computer. It's a glass half empty kinda day, so I'm blaming the camera AND the computer. Darn technology.

However, just like all good plays (and blog updates) there's an understudy waiting in the wings. Although not quite as good as a Christmas post, here is some pretty exciting news I forgot to share with you a couple months back.

And while it was fun singing "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth" all season long, the fun ended abruptly for the poor kid when he got his first lesson in the school of hard knocks Christmas morning.

Corn on the cob will have to wait another day.
