So my pictures finally uploaded (!) and as I was looking through them I realized a few events within the last 4 months failed to make their World Wide Web debut.
***For instance, the celebration of the birth of my oldest son. Horrible, horrible mother! Now you all know, so when the ballots for Mother of the Year come around, remember who not to vote for.
Unless you need more reasons to not vote for me, please pay no attention to the Christmas wrapping paper, the store-bought brownie attempting to pass off as a birthday cake, or the votive candle attempting to mask the fact that I realized we didn't have any birthday candles right before a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday to You" was about to begin.
***The ever-important pumpkin carving night.
Not sure if you noticed, but I'm more of the historian of this event than an actual participant. Pumpkin guts, ew.
***The annual trek to Schnepf Farms where we come away a lot poorer than we were before heading out on said trek.
FYI, if you wait to take the family picture until the very end of a very long day, your 5-year-old may or may not be as happy as ours.
Alright, I think that pretty much gets us caught up through October. November and December, I'm afraid, will have to wait another day.
P.S. Happy New Year!

Happy Birthday! I mean Halloween? Christmas? Oh yeah, New Year!!! Love the birthday cake...Oldest didn't seem to mind a bit. :)
Very resourceful! It was nice to catch a glance last month. This month is a comment, next month we should email...eventually we can work up to getting together again. Let's take it slow, k?
Is it just me, or does Ashton look terrified of his Jack-O-lantern?
